
This morning, Sunday November 2, we begin our 2008 International Missions Conference.
Our theme this year, based on Matthew 24:14, is “To All the Nations.” Given all the talk about missions, there may be some who would still ask, “With so many Christians, so many churches, so many organizations, and so many missionaries in place, why do we still need to do missions? Why, in 2007, did we, Forest Baptist Church, give over $108,000 to missions? Why do we hear so many sermons on missions? Why do we take so many missions trips? Why do we even have a Missions Conference? Why…Why…Why missions!?”
